Information

Prof. Dr. Dr. Peter Höppe holds a degree in meteorology, doctorates in physics and human biology, and is an associate professor of biometeorology. He has extensive experience in research and teaching at various university institutes in the fields of biometeorology, climate change, and environmental risk assessment. His specialties include the analysis of risks posed by climate change and issues of climate justice. He was Head of Geo Risk Research / Corporate Climate Centre at Munich Re for 14 years and is the founder and honorary chairman of the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative. Peter Höppe is a highly experienced and dedicated speaker who is able to explain very complex topics in a way that is understandable even to laypeople.
